MUFC vs LCFC Betting Tips and Odds

Bet365 have the following odds available for this match:

Manchester United are at 5/6, a draw is at 11/4, and Leicester are at 3/1.

Manchester United are not in a good way right now, but the international break couldn’t have come at a better time for them.  They will hope that it has helped them recover a bit after they have failed to win since their opening weekend demolition job of Chelsea.  Since then they have drawn with Wolves and Southampton and lost to Palace, leaving them sitting in eighth on five points.  They need to turn things around and soon, or else Solskjaer could find himself out of the job before long.

Leicester, meanwhile, have enjoyed a tremendous start to the season and have a few people believing they can finish inside the top six- if not the top four.  They started with a couple of draws- against Wolves and Chelsea- both of which were useful.  They then collected six in a row after defeating Sheffield United and Bournemouth.  That makes them one of only three sides unbeaten currently and has them in third place on eight points.  A nice way to start for sure.

Vardy scoring anytime can be had at Betfair for 2.75.

Ladbrokes have both sides scoring at 7/10.

Manchester United vs Leicester Prediction

Things are just not right at United currently, and that’s going to show itself in this match.  It’s very tempting to go all the way and call for a Foxes victory, but they fall short as United battle back to grab a point.

Correct Score Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Leicester

Man United Team News

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be sweating over the fitness of a few stars, with the list including Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, and Jesse Lingard.  If all of them are to miss out, it will be a spot of bother for the Norwegian for sure.

Man United Key Man

With so many men potentially set to miss out, a huge load will be placed upon the ever-growing shoulders of winger Daniel James.  He’s hit the ground running so far since making the jump up to the Premier League by scoring three times to date.  That leads the team, showing how vital he’s already become.  Up front, Marcus Rashford is still a player to keep an eye on.  He’s scored twice so far, once from the spot, but it has been the chances he has seen go begging that will be on the minds of many ahead of this fixture.

Man United Team Form

Manchester United have three draws, a loss, and a win in their last five matches:

1-1 draw at Southampton
1-2 home loss vs Crystal Palace
1-1 draw at Wolves
4-0 home win vs Chelsea
2-2 draw, penalty win vs AC Milan (Fri)

Man United Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-2-3-1

Leicester Team News

Brendan Rodgers has had a lot of luck with injuries so far, with only center back Wes Morgan looking like he could be ruled out.

Leicester Key Man

The Foxes haven’t had a lot of luck against United in recent times, but when they have pulled out a result it’s been because of Jamie Vardy and his goals.  He has scored in two of the last three fixtures against the Red Devils and is currently in top form having showcased that against Bournemouth last time out.  In midfield, Wilfred Ndidi will be patrolling in a bid to stave off United attacks from the off.  The Nigerian has become great at doing the job Kante once did, and he’ll be instrumental in their success- or lack thereof- in this encounter.

Leicester Team Form

Leicester have two wins and three draws in their last five matches:

3-1 home win vs Bournemouth
1-1 draw, penalty win at Newcastle
1-2 win at Sheffield United
1-1 draw at Chelsea
0-0 home draw vs Wolves

Leicester Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-5-1

Harry Maguire's move from Leicester to Manchester United had to look like a step up, but right now it's looking like anything but that. The Foxes have started fantastically well so far, blending defensive assuredness with attacking verve. Jamie Vardy loves playing against the big sides and has made history against United in the past. While it’s hard to say they are favored and that they will win, it’d be no shock to see Rodgers and co. grab a point from United.
United boast a ten match winning streak over the Foxes in all competitions dating back to a roller coaster 5-3 loss at the King Power all the way back in September of 2014.
