This is not just Getafe’s first meeting with Inter Milan, but the first time they have played any Serie A side in their brief European history.
Inter Milan should be full of confidence going into this match as they look for European silverware to finish the season on a high.
Inter go into this game unbeaten in their last eight matches, winning six of them and keeping clean sheets in five of the last six.
That defensive form has been paired with the attacking exploits of 29-goal top-scorer Romelu Lukaku, with Lautaro Martinez alongside him and Alexis Sanchez making an impression from the bench.
With Diego Godin leading a solid defensive unit at the other end, it is easy to see how Inter ended up finishing just a point behind Serie A winners Juventus.

Marc Cucurella – The 22-year-old midfielder tops the assists chart for Getafe this season, albeit with just six to his name so far.
Getafe have scored just one goal in their last six matches, falling to four defeats and drawing twice in that time. Their season ended with a 2-0 home defeat to Atletico Madrid and a 1-0 loss away to Levante.
