No matter what you might believe about France’s chances at winning the Euros this go around, it must be said that they are huge favorites here. They should win this one with ease and stroll into the Finals.
Didier Deschamps will be missing a number of stars due to injury here. Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, defenders Lucas Hernandez and Aymeric Laporte, midfielders Paul Pogba and Blaise Matuidi, and striker Anthony Martial are among the names left out due to injuries alone.

It’s tough to see much joy coming for Moldova, but teams have shocked France before on their own turf. In order for them to do it, they will need goalkeeper Alexei Koselev to have the game of his life. The Fortuna Sittard is on a struggling Dutch club, so he should be familiar with the sort of task he will face here. Up front, they will pin their hopes on 30 year-old Eugen Sidorenco. He’s got seven goals for them in 35 appearances, not too shabby a record, but will need some inspired form to pierce the World champions’ armour.
