Everton are unbeaten in their last four matches against Chelsea, including their 3-1 home win when they met at Goodison Park in December. Richarlison opened the scoring in that game before Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck twice – either side of Mateo Kovacic pulling a goal back – in a dominant home win.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s double and Richarlison’s goal helped them to a 3-1 win when these teams last met and they will both be key again this time out.
Calvet-Lewin’s goalscoring form has continued of late and he was unfortunate to have a deflected winner ruled out for offside in the draw with Manchester United last weekend.
Chelsea, struggling with injuries, might have beaten Liverpool in mid-week, with yet another new young star emerging in the form of Billy Gilmour, but the Blues’ form has otherwise been inconsistent.

Injuries to players like Tammy Abraham, N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic obviously do not help, but the Blues have not been consistent enough throughout the season.
Everton, on the other hand, have proved more than a match for the top teams in their previous matches this season – including that dominant win against Chelsea.
They have a poor record at Stamford Bridge, but they should be hopeful of taking at least a point back to Merseyside.

Everton have been tough to beat this season, and inconsistent Chelsea may be left to rue more dropped points.
Jorginho will be suspended for this match, but N’Golo Kante may not be fit in time to replace him. After impressing in mid-week, that could mean another chance for Billy Gilmour. Willian and Mateo Kovacic are also to be assessed, and could join Calum Hudson-Odoi, Andreas Christensen, Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham on the sidelines. Kepa Arrizabalaga could have earned himself a return to the starting line-up with his saves against Liverpool in mid-week.
Olivier Giroud – Set to lead the line once again, and has a chance to prove his worth up top, having also scored against Spurs last month.
Mason Mount – The playmaker is likely to return to the starting line-up and will be keen to get back to the form he showed earlier in the year.
Marcos Alonso – Scored three goals from left-back in recent matches to reiterate what he can offer in attack for Chelsea.
Chelsea beat Liverpool in the FA Cup in mid-week, with Ross Barkley and Willian scoring to book the Blues’ quarter-final place. It was a return to winning ways after a 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich and a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth despite Marcos Alonso’s two goals the previous week.
Lucas Digne faces a late fitness test, which could mean Leighton Baines starting at left-back. Morgan Schneiderlin is ruled out, as is Seamus Coleman.

Arsenal ended Everton’s five-match unbeaten streak with a 3-2 win at the Emirates despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison but the Toffees were unfortunate not to get back to winning ways at the weekend against Manchester United. Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring and thought he had scored a last-minute winner too, only for VAR to chalk the last one off as the game ended 1-1.
