Celtic will win this match.
In the past decade these two sides have met 18 times - with Ross County winning three of those. The most recent came in the League Cup in January - so can they end the year how they started it with victory over the Bhoys?

The great thing about this current Celtic squad is that Brendan Rodgers has so many options at his disposal. If he wants to rest players he can without impacting upon the quality of his side, and in Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths he has two guaranteed 20+ goal strikers. They should have far too much firepower for Ross County, and with eight clean sheets in their last eleven starts they are unlikely to be breached, either.
As is always the case when betting on Celtic in domestic action, you simply won't get a price worth taking on. But we can manipulate the handicap market to our advantage, and the -2 mark is worth having on board at 21/20.
The second betting play has to be Celtic to Win & Both Teams to Score (No) at 10/11; a wager that has landed in seven of their last ten outings.
We have a few correct score options at our disposal too, although assuming that all of the above comes to fruition then 2-0 and 3-0 in Celtic’s favour - both at 13/2 - are worth adding to your betting slip.
A look at the home/away league tables offer Ross County a sneak preview into what they can expect here with Celtic winning eight from eight on home soil and scoring at an average of three goals per 90 minutes.
The visitors are in decent form but a clash with the Celts is an altogether different equation; a resounding home win is likely.
The loss of James Forrest with a thigh injury will be a concern for Brendan Rodgers, but at least that is the only injury worry that he has.
Scott Sinclair has been a revelation since leaving English football behind; a number of excellent performances have brought ten goals and countless assists this term.
Seventeen games, sixteen wins, one draw. Celtic have been faultless at home - W8 D0 L0 - and if Ross County needed any reminding about the size of their task then this is it.

If there is any consolation for Ross County heading into this match, at least nearly they have a full and fit squad to choose from, with only Kenny van der Weg missing through suspension.
If Ross County are to get anything from this game then they will need defender Andrew Davies to be at his commanding best.
They should be in good heart after embarking on a six-game unbeaten run, the highlights of which have been a draw with Rangers and victory over Aberdeen.
