BOU vs EFC Betting Tips and Odds

Bet365 have the following odds available for this match:

Bournemouth are at 19/10, a draw is at 5/2, and Everton are at 7/5.

Bournemouth will come into this match at home on the back of consecutive losses.  They had began brightly with a draw (albeit a disappointing one in the circumstances) to Sheffield United and then a win at Aston Villa.  They then lost to Manchester City and Leicester, neither of which are terrible results, but that now leaves them hoping they won’t succumb to yet another defeat that sees them drop further down than the 15th spot they presently occupy.

Everton have been hard to read, as usual, so far this season but they sit in a nice sixth place ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.  They have seven points via two wins, a draw, and a loss.  The fact the loss came against Aston Villa will be incredibly frustrating to them, as they will feel they should have plenty about them to beat a newly promoted side, especially one that had not won prior to that.  With that being said, they did win last time out over Wolves, so maybe that righted the ship a bit.

Richarlison scoring anytime at Betfair is at 2.87.  For him to score twice or more is at 11.0.

Ladbrokes have over 3.5 goals scored at 17/10.

Bournemouth vs Everton Prediction

If this match were being held at Goodison Park, it’d be all Everton, but this is at the Vitality and the Cherries are much better there.  They have the horses to make it a miserable day for the Toffees, and they do so to win.

Correct Score Prediction: Bournemouth 3-2 Everton

Bournemouth Team News

Eddie Howe has been dealing with a large group of injured parties so far this term, and that persists here.  That has only worsened now with Chris Mepham looking to have been added to a group that contains Simon Francis, Charlie Daniels, Lloyd Kelly, Dan Gosling, Matt Butcher, Lewis Cook, Junior Stanislas, and David Brooks.

Bournemouth Key Man

He may be injured frequently, but when he is fit you can count on goals to come from Callum Wilson.  The English striker has been linked with moves away for a long time, but fans of the Cherries will be glad he’s stayed put due to his tremendous record in front of goal.  He got his first goal of the campaign last time out and will look for more.  If any set piece opportunities come up, then the other Wilson, Harry, will be expected to test Jordan Pickford.  The on-loan Liverpool man has already scored two outrageous PL goals, one from one play and one from a set piece.

Bournemouth Team Form

Bournemouth have two losses, two draws, and a win in their last five matches:

3-1 loss at Leicester
0-0 home draw, penalty win vs Forest Green Rovers (EFL Cup)
1-3 home loss vs Manchester City
1-2 win at Aston Villa
1-1 home draw vs Sheffield United

Bournemouth Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-4-1-1

Everton Team News

Marco Silva remains without new man Jean-Philippe Gbamin due to injury, while goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, their backup, remains a doubt to feature through one of his very own.

Everton Key Man

Richarlison looks like he is officially off and running now.  The Brazilian winger, who played as a forward much of last season, and not too successfully, bagged a pair of goals in the win over Wolves.  He had the opener and the winner, showing he’s back among the goals and could be set to lead the Toffees onwards.  Alex Iwobi is a second player to watch.  The Nigerian winger was a surprise buy ahead of the window closing and he got his first goal for the club last time out, helping him to potentially push Bernard to the bench.

Everton Team Form

Everton have three wins, a loss, and a draw in their last five matches:

3-2 home win vs Wolves
2-4 win at Lincoln City (EFL Cup)
2-0 loss at Aston Villa
1-0 home win vs Watford
0-0 draw at Crystal Palace

Everton Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-2-3-1

Bournemouth have shown an ability to do well at home with Everton in what has generally been an entertaining series of matches, and because of that, it's tough to look past them for at least a draw. As much as Everton have done in the transfer market in recent times, they are still not quite where they want to be. Form away from home has not always been their strong suit, and that gives the Cherries a chance to capitalize and get a result.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in four home PL matches with the Toffees (2W, 2D).
