Arsenal began their 2019-20 pre-season preparations with a 3-0 friendly win against Colorado Rapids, with a young starting XI on show in Denver. Bakayo Sako and James Olayinka scored in the first-half, before new boy Gabriel Martinelli opened his Arsenal account with a strike after the break.
Bayern have travelled stateside with a mixed squad, including 19 first-team players. Lucas Hernandez has not travelled as he continues to recover from knee surgery, but new signings Benjamin Pavard and Fiete Arp have, as has Canada international Alphonso Davies despite playing in the Gold Cup.
