Paris Saint Germain will win this match.
Paris Saint-Germain have not lost a league game against Nice since December 2012, winning seven games in a row against them until the 2-2 draw in Paris earlier this season. Paris Saint-Germain are the form team in France, but this could be the day their title hopes take a huge dent. Nevertheless, with the momentum of their winning run behind them, they can get a huge result on Saturday, regardless of Nice’s home form this season.
Paris Saint-Germain are overwhelming favourites, despite Nice’s good home form, and Bet365, William Hill and Betfair are all offering 8/15 on an away win. Nice have surprisingly high odds with the bookmakers - Betfair are offering a best price of 11/2. The draw is 10/3 with Bet365, William Hill and Ladbrokes.
Both teams to score has been set at 4/6 for yes and 11/10 for no with Bet365. Given Nice are unbeaten at home, some might be tempted by Bet365 best price of 8/5 on either Nice to win or a draw.
Reason: Paris Saint-Germain’s run of wins since losing to Barcelona - including two wins against league leaders Monaco - have clearly influenced the bookmakers. Don’t count Nice out, however - they are tough to beat at home and those odds are very generous as a result.
Top scorer Mario Balotelli is pushing for a return to the starting line-up, having missed the last two games, which saw fit-again Mickael Le Bihan favoured instead. Centre-back Paul Baysse came off the bench on his return from injury against Toulouse, and could reclaim his starting spot from Maxime le Marchand, with he and Dante tasked with keeping Edinson Cavani quiet.
Mario Balotelli remains a divisive figure, but his 15 goals this season are a reminder of what he can do on his day.
Nice are unbeaten in their last 11 games since losing to league leaders Monaco at the start of February. A 1-1 draw at Toulouse last time out saw them lose ground on the league leaders, but they won three in a row prior to that game, including a 3-1 defeat of Nancy in their most recent home game.

TMidfielder Adrien Rabiot returned from injury to come off the bench against Monaco, but Layvin Kurzawa is still unavailable. He joins Hatem Ben Arfa and Grzegorz Krychowiak on the sidelines. Unai Emery may well stick with the same outfield ten which beat Monaco, though Kevin Trapp will return in goal in place of Alphonse Areola.
Edinson Cavani double against Monaco took him to a sensational 45 goals for the season.
Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-0 thrashing of Monaco in the Coupe de France semi-finals was their ninth consecutive win in all competitions since their incredible 6-1 Champions League defeat in Barcelona. Unai Emery’s team have kept clean sheets in five of their last six matches too, with their last away win - 3-2 in Metz - the only game in which they have conceded in that time.
