Atlanta United will win this match.
This is the first ever meeting between the two teams, with Atlanta playing their debut season in MLS.
%HEAD-TO-HEAD-STATS-BANNER%Atlanta have made a strong start to life in Major League Soccer, and their third home game of the season gives them chance to continue that against an injury-depleted DC United team.
Top scorer Josef Martinez and winger Jacob Peterson are still out injured for Atlanta, while defender Zach Lloyd is suffering from a groin injury. Yamil Asad is suspended, which could mean a first start for Andrew Carleton.
Winger Hector Villalba has stepped up in Martinez’s absence and has now scored four goals this season.
Despite losing their first ever game, Atlanta have made an encouraging start to their maiden MLS campaign, bouncing back by winning three and drawing two of their six games since then. A 3-1 win at Real Salt Lake last time out was their second away win of the campaign.
