Palace beat Spurs in the FA Cup last season but, in the Premier League, Tottenham have won their last eight matches in a row against the Eagles. Palace have already played at Spurs’ new stadium, with Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen ensuring a 2-0 home win in April last season. Juan Foyth had been the match-winner in the reverse fixture, when Spurs won 1-0 at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham Hotspur have been unconvincing at best so far this season. They rescued a win and a draw despite trailing against both Aston Villa and Manchester City respectively, and then lost to Newcastle before surrendering a 2-0 lead against Arsenal.
So Spurs need to get back on track and the home game against Crystal Palace is a big opportunity to do just that.
Palace, for their part, have caused problems for the big teams before – most recently, of course, winning 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur have made an inauspicious start to the new Premier League season but, after the international break, Spurs need to start firing on all cylinders – starting with this game.
New signing Giovani Lo Celso returned back from the international break injured and will join fellow Argentine Juan Foyth on the sidelines. Tanguy NDombele and Kyle Walker-Peters were both back in training prior to the international break, however, and could be set to return, while Eric Dier and new signing Ryan Sessegnon are also being assessed.

They drew 2-2 with Manchester City next up but then lost 1-0 at home to Newcastle. Most recently, they surrendered a 2-0 lead – given to them by Christian Eriksen and Kane – to draw 2-2 with Arsenal.
Roy Hodgson expected to have James Tomkins available after the international break, while Scott Dann should also be fit after suffering a hand injury. It leaves just Martin Kelly (groin) on the injury list, with Tomkins or Mamadou Sakho therefore likely to partner Gary Cahill at the back.

Luka Milivojevic –Palace’s penalty king has proved he can contribute plenty of goals from midfield, from the spot, from free-kicks and in open play.
Wilfried Zaha – Palace’s star player should relish the freedom that having in-form attacking players around him provides.
Crystal Palace have won their last two league games, either side of a penalty shoot-out defeat to Colchester United in the Carabao Cup. Jordan Ayew scored in the wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa. His was the only goal against his former club most recently but, before that, Patrick van Aanholt scored the last-minute winner at Manchester United to seal a 2-1 win.
