Our Prediction Tip

Chelsea will win this match.

Chelsea have won four of their last six meetings against Swansea City in all competitions, but the Welsh side were unbeaten in the two games they played against the Blues last season.

The game at the Liberty Stadium ended in a 1-0 win to the hosts, with the goal scored by Gylfi Sigurdsson, while they also picked up a point at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season with a 2-2 draw, although the Swans' goalscorers in that match, Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis, both left the club at the end of last season. In just two of the last six meetings, both teams have scored.

Swansea City v Chelsea: Prediction

Chelsea are looking very hard to stop and they will be confident of making it four wins out of four when they visit the Liberty Stadium this weekend. Swansea look set for a relegation battle and on paper there is only going to be one winner here. However, Swansea took four points from their two matches against Chelsea last season and can take a lot of confidence from those results, although the odds look to be against them in this match.

Swansea City v Chelsea: Betting Tips

Chelsea are strong favourites to claim the points here and they can only be backed at 5/8 to continue their winning streak so far this season under their new manager Antonio Conte. Swansea are available at 21/4, which does not particularly appeal, nor does 16/5 on the draw.

Diego Costa has scored two goals in three league games this season and is at a tempting 23/20 on the any time goalscorer market, while Eden Hazard is at 9/5 and looks even better value. Chelsea have scored at least twice in all their games this season, so Chelsea to score 2+ goals looks to be a fine bet at 4/6.

With just one Premier League win this season - at Burnley on the opening day of the campaign - Swansea are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone, although it is early days.

Striker Borja Baston, the club's record signing, could be fit to make his debut in attack alongside compatriot Fernando Llorente having recovered from a thigh injury, but the Swans are still missing captain and defensive leader Ashley Williams, who was sold to Everton in the transfer window.

Swansea City likely XI:

  • Goalkeeper:- Fabianski

  • Defenders:- Naughton, Fernandez, Amat, Kingsley

  • Midfielders:- Fer, Cork, Britton

  • Forwards:- Baston, Routledge, Llorente

Antonio Conte has overseen three wins from three Premier League games for Chelsea so far and they are flying high at the top of the table. Diego Costa has looked sharp with two winners already, while Eden Hazard looks to be getting back to his best. Despite the 100 per cent record, Conte moved to sign Marcos Alonso and David Luiz to strengthen his back line on transfer deadline day and both players could be included in the squad here.

Chelsea likely XI:

  • Goalkeeper:- Courtois

  • Defenders:- Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta

  • Midfielders:- Kante, Matic, Oscar, Willian, Hazard

  • Forwards:- Costa

Chelsea are one of the favourites for the Premier League title on the form they have shown so far this season and it is hard to see Swansea causing them a lot of problems in this match. The Swans have home advantage, but Chelsea should be too strong and can win.
Chelsea have scored at least two goals in their last three Premier League matches.
