SCO vs ISR Betting Tips and Odds

Bet365 have the following odds available for this match:

Scotland are at 1.75 to win, a draw is at 3.60, and an Israel win is at 4.60.

Israel and Scotland both come into this match knowing that they can win the Nations League with the right result from this match.  With both teams being on six points each, they will know that a win will carry them through to League B and a possible place in Euro 2020 as well via the playoffs.  However, a draw in this match would hand Israel the place over the Scots.

Scotland have just three wins this year to go along with six losses, but they are in position to win this group nonetheless thanks to two of the three wins coming in it.  They did lose to Israel, but it was only by a goal and it was away from home.  Israel have three wins and three losses this year in what hasn't exactly been a busy year for them.  They began the year with three straight losses, but since then they have rattled off three wins in a row, including the 2-1 win at home over Scotland last month.

No for both teams scoring is at 1.72 at Betfair.

Fraser is at 3/1 odds to score anytime via Ladbrokes.

Scotland vs Israel Prediction

The Tartan Army has craved a major tournament berth for a long time now, and they can taste it.  After the way they hammered Albania away from home, they can and will get the three points they need at home to take the group.

Correct Score Prediction: Scotland 2-0 Israel

Scotland Team News

Alex McLeish made some crucial decisions with his squad by leaving out veterans like goalkeeper Craig Gordon, defender Charlie Mulgrew, midfielder Robert Snodgrass, and strikers Leigh Griffiths and Steven Naismith.  Midfielder Matt Ritchie and full back Kieran Tierney also are out of the team for this match.

Scotland Key Man

Some will point out that Albania helped the Scots out by losing a man early on, but that doesn't negate the fact that they ran riot away from home.  That was thanks in large part to Ryan Fraser.  The tricky, speedy Bournemouth winger scored once and assisted once as well, while midfielder Ryan Christie pulled the strings from the middle of the park and James Forrest added two more goals.  Any of those three could prove to be the hero Scotland needs to rise again.

Andreas Herzog will see at least one change from the team that defeated Albania last month, with defender Eitan Tibi left out this time around.  Midfielder Eyal Golasa, goalkeeper Ofir Marciano, and striker Tal Ben Haim are ruled out due to injuries.

Israel Key Man

Israel got help from its two heroes in the win over Albania last month to put them on the verge, and they will be counting on them here at Hampden Park.  Tomer Hemed scored the opener, his 17th in 35 matches for his country to add to his frightening international record, while midfielder Bibras Natcho continued to show his solidity.  In addition to the patrolling he does, and his passing, he assisted on the second goal to put the game away for them at home.

7-0 home win vs Guatemala (Fri)
2-0 home win vs Albania (UNL)

Israel Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Lineup: 3-5-2

This is the opportunity that Scotland have been waiting for. After over 20 years without making a major tournament, they are one step closer. To get a chance via the playoffs, they need a win at home to Israel. And they should be able to get just that. Israel did beat them in the reverse fixture, but Scotland are in commanding form after that win on Saturday, and they will have the home crowd pushing them on toward success.
Israel have won three matches in a row ahead of this tricky tie with the Scots.
