PSG have had the better of Bayern Munich overall, winning five of their eight previous meetings. Bayern have won the other three. They last met in the group stage in 2017-18 – PSG won the first meeting 3-0 in Paris, but Bayern won the second in Munich, 3-1.
Paris Saint-Germain head into their first Champions League Final having already seen off German opposition twice already this season.

Throw in the experience of Thiago Silva at the back and Neymar’s presence in that exciting front three and this is a team well capable of a first Champions League triumph.
However, they come up against a Bayern Munich side in phenomenal form.
Their run of 20 consecutive wins and an unbeaten 2020 to date does not even tell the whole story.
They are not just winning games, but doing so in style, with Robert Lewandowski’s phenomenal goalscoring form a big part of that.

With Lewandowski in such good form, the stage seems to be set for the Bundesliga champions to complete a remarkable season by securing the treble.
