Leicester City put a disappointing end to last season behind them with a big win away to West Brom in their opening game of the new campaign.
Jamie Vardy scored twice from the penalty spot to start his campaign well, as he looks for a second Golden Boot, and he will hope to take advantage of adepleted Burnley defence now too.
The Clarets are without Ben Mee and possibly James Tarkowski too, and Vardy and the returning James Maddison could take advantage for the Foxes.
Burnley were not in action on the opening day but their injury problems mean it could be a tough start to the season.
Former Foxes striker Chris Wood, who ended last season in good form, will be up front but Leicester start the season with a clean sheet and keep the powerful striker quiet.
The key for Brendan Rodgers’ side will be to make a strong start to the season as they bid to go one better than last season and actually reach the Champions League this time.
They did the business on the opening day, and they are favourites to make it two from two now too.
Leicester City are favourites to win this game, and can be backed at 8/13 with Betway to beat Burnley.
The Foxes kept a clean sheet last time out and you can bet against both teams to score at 10/13 with 10Bet.
Burnley are light at the back but they do have a good defensive record and under 2.5 goals will return 5/6 with Betway.
Jamie Vardy is a best price of 10/11 to score at any time with 888sport after his double on the opening day.
Leicester City started the season with a good win and, against an injury-hit Burnley side, can make it two from two.
With Jonny Evans still suspended, Brendan Rodgers must decide whether Wilfred Ndidi will slot in at centre-back again or if fit-again Wes Morgan returns to the starting XI. James Maddison could make his long-awaited return to the starting line-up after injury.
Jamie Vardy – Last season’s Golden Boot winner has already scored twice at the start of this season, albeit both from the penalty spot.
James Maddison – A big miss at the end of last season, the playmaker’s return adds a key element back to the Foxes’ attacking play.
Caglar Soyuncu – Having to step up as the leading centre-back but a clean sheet last time out was a good start without Evans and Morgan.
After a dismal end to last season, Leicester got off the mark for the new campaign at the first time of asking. Jamie Vardy scored twice from the penalty spot on a 3-0 win at West Brom, after Timoty Castagne had opened the scoring on his debut.
The Clarets start the season with a number of injury issues, including Jack Cork, Ashley Barnes, Ben Mee and Johan Berg Gudmundsson all being ruled out. James Tarkowski is a doubt too with a bruised toe, leaving Burnley light at centre-back.
Chris Wood – With Ashley Barnes still sidelined, the New Zealand international striker remains Burnley’s key man up front.
Jay Rodriguez – Ended last season in good form up front too, proving another key player in Barnes’ long-term absence.
Nick Pope – The England goalkeeper has kept plenty of clean sheets for Burnley, and may need to be at his best without the first-choice centre-back pairing in front of him.
Burnley were not in action on the opening weekend of the Premier League season but they started their season with a win against Lancashire rivals in the Carabao Cup. Matej Vydra scored their goal in a 1-1 draw, before they went on to win on penalties.
