West Brom have 21 wins to their name in this fixture while Ipswich have 34, with 16 draws. This will be their first meeting since Ipswich pulled of a shock win against the newly-promoted Premier League team back in 2010 in the League Cup – winning 1-0 thanks to a Grant Leadbitter penalty.

Ipswich may have steadied the ship with two draws in their last two games but they remain in big trouble – even if they do now have a platform of some sort to build from.
Up until their most recent game a fortnight ago, West Brom’s promotion charge had hit the rocks but the win against Leeds – and more the comprehensive manner of it – has showed they are firing again.
The switch to a more attacking formation, with Hal Robson-Kanu in, paid dividends and it is testament to their performance that top scorer Dwight Gayle may miss out.
It is certainly ominous for Ipswich anyway, with the Tractor Boys down the foot of the table and conceding plenty, that West Brom’s free-scoring forwards – far and away the division’s top scorers – are back to their best.
The trip to Ipswich is therefore one West Brom really should be returning from with three points. Anything less would have to be viewed as points dropped.
West Brom are 10/11 to beat Ipswich with Bet365, Betway and 10Bet and if they pick up where they left off against Leeds, they can live up to that.

Ipswich have drawn their last two games but are without a win in five since recording their only success of the season so far at home to Swansea. The Tractor Boys lost 2-0 at home to QPR and away to Leeds by the same score, before a 3-0 defeat at Millwall. Jay Rodriguez – Eight goals and two assists in his 17 appearances so far this season.
Harvey Barnes – The Leicester loanee is highly rated and the 19-year-old has proved why so far this year with goals and assists.
After a run of four games without a win – of which they lost three – West Brom got back to winning ways last time out when they beat Leeds United. The Baggies scored four times after the break, courtesy of Hal Robson-Kanu, Matt Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle before a late consolation meant it finished 4-1. It followed a 1-0 loss at Hull the previous week and, in the final three games of October, a 1-0 defeat at Wigan, a 4-1 loss at home to Derby and a 1-1 draw with Blackburn. Jay Rodriguez scored a consolation against the Rams, while Craig Dawson netted against Rovers.
