While this will be the fourth time Germany and Estonia have met, their last meeting was almost exactly 80 years ago. For the record, Germany won all three previous matches against Estonia.
Germany have got their act together after a dreadful 2018 and continued their winning start to Euro 2020 qualifying last time out.
Leroy Sane has scored in each of their last two games and his renaissance at international level has been – and will continue to be – key to Germany’s resurgence.
Against Estonia, they should be able to record a comfortable victory to keep morale high too.
This is, after all, an Estonia team who leaked goals during World Cup qualifying last time out and with Germany back in form that is ominous for the visitors.
Estonia are similar to Germany in some respects, as they look to build for the future without some of their key figures from past years.
But Germany are doing so with stars like Sane and Marco Reus leading the way.
Both men scored last time out and Germany will expect an even more convincing win on home soil.

Germany are back on track and Joachim Low’s side will expect nothing less than a convincing home win against Estonia.
Serge Gnabry started up front against Belarus in a 3-4-3 formation, with Timo Werner only on the bench. Toni Kroos and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are not in the squad due to injury, and neither is Antonio Rudiger.

Artur Pikk – Facing the in-form Leroy Sane in defence, the Miedz Legnica full-back will need to keep the winger quiet.
Estonia’s recent record is inflated slightly by victory in their unofficial friendly against Finland in January and the goalless draw with Iceland that followed. Since those games, Estonia have lost 2-0 in Northern Ireland and narrowly beat Gibraltar away – Konstantin Vassiljev scoring the only game in the latter match.
