Including their 4-0 win in the reverse fixture, France have won all four full internationals they have played against their Pyrenean neighbours. This year’s match was their first for 14 years, with Kylian Mbappe, Wissam Ben Yedder, Florian Thauvin and Kurt Zouma scoring the French goals in Andorra.
France have responded well to their surprise defeat to Turkey – a result which means the two qualification spots remain wide open in Group H.
Though they would always expect to beat Andorra and Albania, the world champions dispatched both with the minimum of fuss.
Even with a long injury list, France have far too much quality for Andorra, who have not scored in qualifying so far.
The only question is how many France will win by, and they set the bar at four in their win in the reverse fixture in June.
It could be even more in France, particularly with their attacking players having points to prove with the likes of Mbappe out.
Whether its Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann, who played against Albania, or the likes of Nabil Fekir and Wissam Ben Yedder, the Andorran defence is going to be busy.

At the other end, France scored four in the reverse fixture and over 3.5 goals will return 1/4 with Betway, Bet365, Betfair and Ladbrokes.
Bet365 are offering 4/11 on France to win b four or more goals, meanwhile.
Antoine Griezmann is 1/4 to score at any time with Bet365, who are offering the best price of 4/9 on Oliver Giroud too. Kingsley Coman scored twice against Albania and he is 8/11 with Bet365.
France managed four goals in Andorra and they should score at least that again as they look to cement their position at the top of their group.
Samuel Umtiti, Kylian Mbappe and Florian Thauvin have all withdrawn from the French squad, joining Paul Pogba and Aymeric Laporte on the injury list. Didier Deschamps still has the same 11 starters who beat Albania available, but there could be some rotation with this a good chance to mix things up – including a potential debut for Matteo Guendouzi.
Kingsley Coman – Staked his claim for more opportunities with two goals in the win against Albania last time out, playing on the right wing.
Olivier Giroud – Scored in the Super Cup for Chelsea and maintained his good international record last time out with the second goal against Albania.
Antoine Griezmann – Missed a penalty last time out, but the new Barca man remains one of France’s best attacking players and did set up the third goal too.

Though no more than was expected, the world champions beat Andorra 4-0 with Kylian Mbappe, Wissam Ben Yedder, Florian Thauvin and Kurt Zouma scoring before Kingsley Coman’s double and a goal apiece for Olivier Giroud and Jonathan Ikone sealed a 4-1 win against Albania.
Suspended for the defeat to Turkey, Txus Rubio was not in the squad at all for these fixtures. Veteran striker Juli Sanchez and goalkeeper Ferran Pol were the other players absent from the squad selected when these two nations last met in June.
Ildefons Lima – The hugely experienced centre-back will make his 125th Andorran appearance at the heart of a defence looking to keep France at bay.
Cristian Martinez – The last Andorran to score an international goal – that was his third, making him only the fifth Andorran in history to reach that tally.
Max Llovera – The much younger centre-back will be the other man tasked with keeping the French attack quiet.
Though they secured a some draws during the UEFA Nations League, they have lost all five Euro 2020 qualifiers without scoring a goal so far. They lost 4-0 to France when these teams last met, in June, with that defeat sandwiched between 1-0 losses to Moldova and, last time out, Turkey.
