BOU vs LFC Betting Tips and Odds

Bet365 have the following odds available for this match:

Bournemouth are at 11/2, a draw is at 7/2, and Liverpool are at 4/9.

Liverpool will begin the weekend’s round once again on top of the table, and they remain so by eight points over Leicester City following a fifth successive PL match since drawing to United.  If they keep up this kind of form for much, longer it could be curtains for the rest of the division.  As for Bournemouth, they will come into the match in the middle of the table as things sit on 16 points from their first 15 games.  They are only two ahead of the drop zone and they have lost four in a row while stuttering badly in attack.

At home so far this season, Bournemouth have picked up a total of nine points from seven matches, putting them among the worst teams in that category.  They have two wins and three draws, though it must be said that they have only lost one of the last five at the Vitality.  As for Liverpool, they have been nearly flawless on the road.  In seven outings, they have six wins and a draw.  That came to Manchester United, but even that hasn’t slowed them down too much ahead of this trip.

Betfair have Mane scoring anytime at 2.0.

Ladbrokes have both teams scoring at 4/6.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool Prediction

Liverpool are just incredible to watch right now.  One could argue that they didn’t even play their best football on Wednesday and yet they still scored five goals.  Bournemouth can’t buy a goal at the moment, and that all adds up to disaster.

Correct Score Prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 Liverpool

Bournemouth Team News

Eddie Howe has had an injury list that has dwindled of late, helping him with team selection, but he’s still not getting much consistency out of his side.  The likes of striker Joshua King, midfielders Junior Stanislas and David Brooks and left back Charlie Daniels remain out due to injury, however, while on-loan midfielder Harry Wilson is ineligible to face his parent club.

Bournemouth Key Man

Bournemouth have troubled Liverpool in the past, but that has been a long, long while.  When they did do so, it Ryan Fraser was usually a big factor.  The Scot has gone from shoe-in in the first XI to non-regular now, but he’s still vastly important and leads the team with three assists so far.  In the back, Nathan Ake, a man that scored to defeat the Reds once upon a time, is another to watch.  He can be a threat on set pieces, but it will be his defensive duties that take full interest here.

Bournemouth Team Form

Bournemouth have four losses and a win in their last five matches:

1-0 loss at Crystal Palace
3-2 loss at Tottenham
1-2 home loss vs Wolves
2-1 loss at Newcastle
1-0 home win vs Manchester United

Bournemouth Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-4-2

Liverpool Team News

Jurgen Klopp rotated well in midweek, yet the juggernaut kept on rolling.  Look for him to make some more changes here for this match without losing any quality, and possibly, gaining some.  Midfielder Fabinho remains out injured along with defenders Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Matip.  Goalkeeper Alisson is eligible to return having served a one-match ban.

Liverpool Key Man

Sadio Mane will be kicking himself that he didn’t do even more against Everton than he did on Wednesday.  He had two quick assists and a goal, but he easily could have had a hat trick.  He was simply sublime in the first half, and it’s going to be tough for the Cherries to hold him back.  Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also be relishing this.  If the likes of Lallana and Shaqiri keep playing well, he’ll be in for a fight to get minutes on the pitch, and of late he’s looked well up for the fight for sure.

Liverpool Team Form

Liverpool have four wins and a draw in their last five matches:

5-2 home win vs Everton
2-1 home win vs Brighton
1-1 home draw vs Napoli (UCL)
1-2 win at Crystal Palace
3-1 home win vs Manchester City

Liverpool Predicted Starting Line up

Expected Line up: 4-3-3

Bournemouth just can't muster much of anything right. They played against a Palace side down a man on Tuesday and failed to register a single shot on goal in the second half. That's just terrible at the least, and it shows how much trouble they are in right now. Having an extra day to prepare might have been nice, but Liverpool rotated quite a bit and still hammered Everton on Wednesday. It looks like it can only go one way, and it's in favor of the visitors.
Following their loss to ten-man Palace on Tuesday, Bournemouth have now lost four matches in a row.
