Chelsea famously beat Bayern in the 2012 final, on penalties, but they have not beaten them in two matches since. In the UEFA Super Cup in 2013, they drew 2-2 but lost on penalties and then lost 3-0 in the first leg of this tie – Serge Gnabry scoring twice and Robert Lewandowski adding the other.
