Our Prediction Tip

Arsenal will win this match.

Across 58 matches, Arsenal have only been defeated 8 times by Fulham with their most recent defeat coming in January 2012 when two late goals from Steve Sidwell and Bobby Zamora cancelled out an earlier strike from Laurent Koscielny. A 3-3 draw followed that fixture but since then the Gunners have won the next six. Back in September, goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction

The Gunners have long been comfortable against both relegation-threatened sides and table toppers, often coming unstuck against the more battle-hardened teams of mid-table. They are now the mid-table side and will fancy their chances of cruising past Fulham who look more like a Championship side as every week of spring progresses. We are backing another win to zero for the home team.

Correct score prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Fulham

Arsenal Predicted Starting Line-up

Expected Line-up: 4-2-3-1

Fulham Predicted Starting Line-up

Expected Line-up: 4-4-2

It’s a strange situation for Arsenal to be entering the final 7 games of the season with no push for the Champions League or even Europa League places. However, a strong end to the Premier League season, combined with a successful Europa League campaign, will relieve some of the pressure which has come and gone throughout the season for Mikel Arteta. Fulham will not have been pleased to see how easily the Gunners dispatched of fellow strugglers Sheffield United last week, in the same gameweek that they conceded deep into injury time to lose against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Since winning away at Anfield, Fulham have lost their last four Premier League games.

Time and games are beginning to run out for Fulham and their form has returned to that of pre-February when they were everyone’s favourites for the drop. They will need a huge performance away at 9th in the table Arsenal if they are to pick up three points to keep them in touch with Newcastle who are now five points above them outside the relegation zone. For the Gunners, the best they can realistically aim for now is a 7th placed finish, however they will need to pick up some back to back wins if they are to realise this. The Premier League match takes place at the Emirates Stadium on April 18 and the live action kicks off at 13:30 local time.
