AC Milan will win this match.
Sunday’s clash will be the 27th occasion on which these two sides have met – and incredibly, Torino have only ever beaten Milan once! The hosts here have won 14 fixtures, with 12 ending in a draw.

It’s a tough one to call is this, but AC Milan’s form at the San Siro during the 2015/16 season has swung it in their favour.
They lost just four games there throughout the last campaign, winning nine and drawing six. Compare that to Torino’s away form – W6 D3 L10 – and we can see there is a certain vulnerability there.
Milan certainly aren’t the side they once were, but their performances during the summer’s International Champions Cup were encouraging enough. A 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich was the obvious standout, and even in defeat to Liverpool and Chelsea they looked much improved. Without the spectre of European football looming over their thin squad, they should improve on last season’s seventh place finish.
Backing a home win here looks the most sensible option then.
Smart punters are never swayed by prices and the perception of betting value; they should let their insight into the match take control of their wagering.
But that said, AC Milan look a fantastic price here at 9/10. You can almost double your money by backing a team that lost just four times at home last season against an opponent that lost more than 50% of their away matches. The price seems generous.
The last two matches between these two sides at the San Siro have ended 1-0 and 3-0 in Milan’s favour, so we can back Both Teams to Score – No with some certainty at 21/20.
For so long the dominant force in Serie A, the titans of Italian football are teetering at the moment. AC Milan have sold just 5,000 season tickets amid supporter unrest, and while they are still capable of fine performances the former ‘fear factor’ that existed from a trip to the San Siro is now gone.

A so-so season for Torino in 2015/16, and while a safe mid-table finish will have been pleasing enough a run of four defeats in their last five highlights just why this side cannot afford to take their foot off the gas.
