We like Manchester United here due to the fact that they are further along in their preseason schedule, and that isn't a bad thing for you, either, because they have better odds than Madrid here. Madrid are a great team and they could turn it on at any point, but United have the better legs at this point.
Another reason we like them is because United won't have to face either Ronaldo or Cristiano Ronaldo here, who have both taken them to the woodshed in recent matches.
This is the fourth preseason match for United already, so they will be ahead fitness-wise and should be able to see that through to victory. Also, they don't have a Ronaldo to contend with against Madrid, so that will help them considerably.
Zinedine Zidane is missing a few players due to the tournaments that have been going on this summer. Marco Asenjo, Jesus Vallejo, and Marcos Llorente are all missing after their exertions in the U21 European Championship. Cristiano Ronaldo also hasn't been included after his time at the Confederations Cup. Center back Sergio Ramos also has been given a longer holiday. James Rodriguez has left the club for Bayern Munich.
Karim Benzema will probably relish the chance here to take up the mantle as the top player. So many rumors have been swirling about him of late and about transfers to replace him, so he'd love to stamp that out very quickly with a good start to the summer.
Real have four wins and a loss in their last five matches. They lost 2-1 away to Atletico in the Champions League second leg (they still advanced) before winning 4-1 at home over Sevilla and away to Celta Vigo. They ended the league season with a 0-2 win at Malaga to clinch the La Liga title, and they then defeated Juventus 1-4 in the Champions League Final.

Jose Mourinho has striker Romelu Lukaku and defender Victor Lindelof, both new signings in the squad. Injured players such as Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, and Ashley Young are there but only to continue to work on their rehab. The other bit of big news over the summer is that Wayne Rooney has left for a return to Everton, so he will not be there with the Red Devils.
Romelu Lukaku hasn't played an official match yet for his new club, but by the looks of it he's going to hit the ground running when he does. A goal in his debut against RSL was followed on by another one against Manchester City on Thursday night. Look for him to continue to be a massive threat.
Manchester United have five wins in their last five matches. They won 2-0 against Crystal Palace to end the league season before winning the Europa League Final against Ajax by the same score. They played two friendlies ahead of the ICC beginning, winning away to LA Galaxy (2-5) and Real Salt Lake (1-2). On Thursday, they faced Manchester City and they won 2-0.
